My Sheik Enamel Pin

How I Designed My Sheik Enamel Pin (Gold vs. Black Nickel)

I’ve been so excited to share a little story about my new Sheik hard enamel pin.
If you’re a Zelda fan like me, you know Sheik always has this cool, mysterious vibe — and I really wanted the pin to feel the same.

When the sample first came out, I actually made two versions:
• one in gold plating
• and one in black nickel

Black nickel is great because it doesn’t oxidize and stays clean for a long time.
But honestly… the gold version just looked so much prettier.
The stained-glass background popped more, the colors felt warmer, and the whole pin looked more “collectible.”
So I ended up choosing gold for the final production.

For the details, I added UV, silkscreen, pearl shimmer, and hard enamel — just enough to make Sheik look sharp without making the design too busy.
Seeing the finished piece in the sunlight was one of those “yes, this is exactly what I wanted” moments.

This pin is made in small batches, so if you love Zelda enamel pins or collect Sheik items, this one might make you happy.
And don’t worry — more Zelda designs are already on the way.
