Which Naraku Incarnation Do You Like Most? An Inuyasha Enamel Pin Collector’s point

In the Inuyasha enamel pin community, Naraku has always been one of the most talked-about villains.

Interestingly, while Naraku himself is extremely popular, there are actually not that many Naraku enamel pins on the market, and the designs are often quite limited. That’s a bit surprising, considering how complex and fascinating his character really is.

If you’re a Naraku fan, I want to ask you one simple question first:

Which of his incarnations is your favorite?

Below is my personal breakdown of Naraku’s main incarnations, from a collector’s point of view.

1. Kanna — Spiritual Emptiness

White hair, red eyes, no expression, no emotions.

Kanna looks like a quiet, harmless little girl, but she is anything but innocent. Her mirror is both her body and her weapon, capable of absorbing souls and reflecting attacks.

She doesn’t fight aggressively. To me, Kanna represents Naraku’s complete emotional void.

2. Kagura — The Longing for Freedom

I personally consider Kagura one of the most beautiful women in Inuyasha.

Her weapon is a fan, and through it she controls the wind — sharp, elegant, and deadly. Her fighting style is fast, flexible, and free-flowing.

Her soul is bound to Naraku, making her someone who can command the wind, but can never become the wind. That contradiction is exactly what makes Kagura so tragic — and so beloved by fans.

3. Hakudoshi — Pure Malice

Hakudoshi appears briefly, but leaves a strong impression.

He doesn’t rely on a fixed weapon. Instead, his real weapon is manipulation. He excels at exploiting fear, hatred, and psychological weakness to achieve his goals.

4. Akago — Control Over the Heart

Akago holds control over Naraku’s heart, which already tells you how dangerous he is.

He rarely fights directly. Instead, he controls life and death from behind the scenes, targeting the most critical weaknesses of others.

5. Goshinki & Juromaru — Bloodlust and Violence

These incarnations exist purely for combat.

They have no real personality, no independent thought — only brute strength and violence. They are tools created for destruction and testing enemies.

In many ways, they represent Naraku’s disposable cruelty — power without conscience.

6. Suikotsu — Controlled Humanity

Strictly speaking, Suikotsu is a member of the Band of Seven, not a true incarnation created by Naraku.

However, he is controlled through Naraku’s heart, making him functionally similar to one.

His weapons are poison and surgical blades, combining medical knowledge with lethal intent. While he may not be a direct incarnation, I personally see him as another expression of Naraku’s existence — proof that Naraku doesn’t always need to create incarnations

Naraku’s incarnations are not random enemies.
They are pieces of a broken personality, separated and weaponized.

That’s also why, as a collector, I find Naraku-themed enamel pins especially compelling — each design can focus on a different aspect of his character, rather than just the villain as a whole.

If I missed anything or made a mistake, feel free to point it out — I’m always happy to learn from fellow Inuyasha fans.
